Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University

Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University is located in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou, not far from Hong Kong, and covers an area of 2500 mu (167.5 hectares). GPNU has 26 schools, and offers 74 bachelor’s programs & 10 master’s programs, covering the disciplines of information sciences and mechanics, economics and management, education and arts, and focusing on technology and teacher education.

Currently, there are 37, 800 undergraduates, 2068 postgraduates, and over 100 international students, with a staff of more than 2200.The university is an important teacher training center for vocational education in China, and is home to research centers for vocational education, ethnic studies, intellectual property & big data, etc. It has cooperated with international partners in teacher training, staff & student mobility, “3+1”, “2+2” or “3+2” dual degree articulation programs, and so on.
